A Little About Us
INCERCO was founded in 1990 as a high-tech ceramic start-up venture specializing in
the manufacture of technology driven custom ceramic components by Chris.  Chris
had formerly worked for Kyocera Ceramics Corporation and then had done a short
stint as a sales manager at a small ceramics company.  INCERCO is the realization of
Chris' dream to own his own business.  Donna previously worked for STC (Superior
Technical Ceramics) in Production Control and joined INCERCO in 1992.

INCERCO is an acronym for "Indiana Ceramics Company".   As the name implies,  we
are located in the state of Indiana...Rushville to be exact.  If you are getting your map
out, we'll save you the trouble.   We are about 42 miles south east of Indianapolis.   
We have two (2) facilities.  In one facility, we have our "green" operation, which starts
with raw powder, then pressing, then green machining and then firing...and ends with
a fired part out of a kiln.  Donna oversees this end of the operation, as well as being
President and C.F.O. of the corporation.  Our second facility is our "hard" grinding
facility which houses all of the diamond grinding equipment and those processes as
well as our corporate offices.  Chris oversees the diamond machining facility and
handles all sales and engineering duties and functions as the C.E.O.

We are a complete manufacturer of high-tech ceramic components.  We are not a
broker.   We do not subcontract any work overseas.  Every ceramic part that you get
from INCERCO was manufactured in the U.S....in Rushville, Indiana to be exact.

We are a small high-tech company with highly dedicated individuals who put care and
attention into their work.  Our goal is quite simple...to manufacture the finest ceramic
components in the world.  

The major markets that we serve are Government (NASA, D.O.D., D.O.E. and most of
the National Labs), Fluid Handling (ceramic pump plungers, pump shafts, bushings,
cylinders, thrust washers, etc.) the battery industry (tooling for the manufacture of
batteries) and tablet tooling (tooling for the powder compaction industry) and other
high-tech industrial applications as well as the technical ceramics industry where we
perform tight tolerance grinding and super finishing and also sell our ceramics in  
green isostatically pressed billets for other ceramic companies to make ceramics out
of.   Our expertise is in the production of high performance ceramic compounds and
producing precision cylindrical geometries (rods and cylinders) to exacting tolerances
from those ceramics.  We are one of the foremost players in the ceramics industry for
producing ultra-precise cylindrical components to tenths tolerances...and splitting
tenths and dealing in tolerances of millionths.
